Ingredients for Chicken Dum Biryani Recipe
Chicken (1/2 kg )
Basmathi rice (1/2 kg)
Curd (1/2 cup)
5 – Green chilli
Coriander leaves – (1 Cup (Finely chopped))
Red chilli powder (2 T spoon)
Mint leaves – (1 Cup (Finely chopped))
Ginger (50 g.m)
Garlic (30 g.m)
Garam masala (2 T spoon)
Oil -(3 T spoon)
Salt
1 – Lemon
8 – Clove
Cinnamon – (2 inch piece)
Cardamom – 3
Ghee (3 Table spoon)
Onion 2
Milk (3 Table spoon)
Food colour (1 pinch)

How to Make Chicken Dum Biryani Recipe
★ Wash chicken thoroughly with water.
★ Grind ginger and garlic in to fine paste in mixer. Cut onions in to thin long slice, fry them.
★ In chicken, add salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, curd, some fried onions and mix well. Add green chillies, lemon juice and mix. Add 3 spoons of ghee and mix. Add finely chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves, 3 spoons of oil and mix well. Keep them aside for 15 to 20 mins for marinating.
★ Clean basmati rice with water. Take a vessel, add basmati rice and pour ¾ cup water in it and put it on stove. Add salt, 1 to 2 spoons of lemon juice, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom in rice. Add some coriander leaves, mint leaves and cook it on low flame up to 75%.
★ After rice is cooked, remove water from rice.
★ Take a vessel (in which you prepare biryani) put marinated chicken in it, up on this slowly add rice, up on this put fried onions as a layer. On this put remaining coriander leaves, mint leaves. Mix food color in milk and pour this milk on rice. Cover it with thick cloth, on this put lid so that steam will not come out. Cook it on low flame for 15 to 20 mins. Tasty Chicken Dum Biryani is ready.
