Ingredients for Dal Shorba Recipe in Hindi

मसूर दाल – 1/2 किलो (Pink lentil – 1/2 kg)
क्रीम – 3 Table spoon (Cream)
अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट – 1 T spoon (Ginger garlic paste)
टमाटर – 2 (Tomato)
प्याज़ – 250 g.m (Onion)
घी – 25 g.m (Ghee)
हल्दी – 1/2 T spoon (Turmeric powder)
नमक – स्वादानुसार (Salt – to taste)
धनिया पत्ता – 2 Table spoon (बारीक़ कटा हुआ) (Coriander leaves)

How to Make Dal Shorba Recipe – विधि

★ दाल को पानी से धो लीजिये. टमाटर और प्याज़

★ अब एक बर्तन में 1 लीटर पानी और दाल डाल कर उबालिये. उसके बाद उसमे कटा हुआ 1 प्याज़, टमाटर, हल्दी, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट 20 मिनट पका कर गैस बंद कर लीजिये.

★ अब दाल ठंडा होने के बाद दाल को बारीक़ पीस लीजिये. उसके बाद पीसा हुआ दाल मिश्रण को एक पतला कपडे में डाल कर छान लीजिये.

★ अब दाल मिश्रण में 2 लीटर पानी डाल कर 20 मिनट पकाये.

★ अब कड़ाई में घी डाल कर गरम कीजिये. अब उसमे बचा हुआ प्याज़ डाल कर हल्का ब्राउन होने तक पका कर दाल मिश्रण में डाल कर 5 मिनट और पकाये. उसके नमक,धनिया पत्ता, क्रीम मिलाकर गैस बंद कर लीजिये. गरमा गरम दाल शोरबा तैयार.

Dal Shorba Recipe In English

★ Wash lentils with water. Cut tomatoes.

★ Take a vessel, add 1 ltr of water, lentils and let it boil. Add chopped 1 onion, tomato, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and cook for 20 mins and switch off the gas.

★ After cooling grind lentils in grinder. Filter lentils mixture using a thin cloth.

★ Add 2 ltrs of water in lentils mixture and cook for 20 mins.

★ Heat ghee in a pan. Add remaining onions and cook till they turn golden brown then add them in lentils and cook for 5 mins. Then add salt, turmeric powder, cream and switch off the gas. Tasty Dal Shorba is ready.
