Ingredients for Gajar Matar Pulao Recipe in Hindi

बासमती चावल – 2 कप (Basmati rice)
घी – 2 Table spoon (Ghee)
जीरा – 1 Table spoon (Cumin seeds)
अदरक – 1 Table spoon (कद्दूकस किया हुआ) (Ginger)
गाजर – 1 कप (कटा हुआ) (Carrot)
उरद दाल – 2 Table spoon (White lentil)
धनिया पाउडर – 2 T spoon (Coriander powder)
गरम मसाला – 1 T spoon (Garam masala)
नमक – स्वादानुसार (Salt)
हल्दी – 1 T spoon (Turmeric powder)
मटर – 1 कप (Green peas)

How to Make Gajar Matar Pulao Recipe – विधि

★ बासमती चावल को धो कर 1 घंटा भिगो कर रखे. उरद दाल को भून कर मिक्सी से दरदरा पीस लीजिये.

★ अब कड़ाई घी डाल कर गरम करे, जीरा और अदरक डाल कर भुने. जीरा भुने के बाद भिगो कर रखा हुआ चावल, मटर, गाजर, पीसा हुआ उरद दाल, नमक, गरम मसाला, हल्दी सब डाल कर मिला लीजिये. उसके बाद 4 कप पानी डाल कर ढककर धीमी आंच पर पका लीजिये. गाजर मटर पुलओ तैयार.

Gajar Matar Pulao Recipe In English

★ Wash rice and soak them for 1 hr. Fry white lentils and grind them coarsely.

★ Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger and fry. After that add soaked rice, green peas, carrot, powdered white lentils, salt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix. Add 4 cups water, cover and cook on low flame. Gajar Matar Pulao is ready.
