Ghee Pongal Recipe

Ingredients for Ghee Pongal – आवश्यक सामग्री

चावल -1 cup (Rice)
लाल मिर्च – 4 (Red chilli)
काली मिर्च – 2 Table spoon (Black pepper)
जीरा – 2 T spoon (Cumin seeds)
हींग – 1-2 पिंच (Asafoetida – 1 or 2 Pinches (Hing))
कड़ी पता – 12 (Curry leaves)
काजू – 2 Table spoon (Cashew nuts)
घी – 4 Table spoon (Ghee)
नमक – स्वादानुसार (salt to taste)

How to Make Ghee Pongal – विधि

चावल को दोकर पानी डाल कर २० मिनट के लिए भिगो कर रकना है.

20 मिनट बाद चावल से पानी निकालकर चावल में नमक और अवयस्कता अनुसार पानी डाल कर चावल को पका कर रकना है.

अब एक कड़ाई में घी डाल कर गरम करे.अब हींग,लाल मिर्च,काली मिर्च (कुटा हुआ) काजू,जीरा डाल कर भुने.

अब कड़ी पता डाल कर भुने अब पका हुआ चावल डाल कर अछि तरह मिला लीजिये.गरमा गरम घी पोंगल तैयार .

Ghee Pongal Recipe In English

Wash rice and soak them for 20 mins in water.

After 20 mins drain water from rice. Add salt and sufficient water in rice and cook.

Heat ghee in pan. Add asafoetida, red chillies, black pepper, cashew, cumin seeds and fry.

Now add curry leaves and fry them. Add cooked rice and mix well. Tasty Ghee Pongal is ready.
