Onion Chutney Recipe

Ingredients for onion chutney – आवश्यक सामग्री.

लाल मिर्च – 4 (Red chilli)
प्याज़ – 3 (Onions)
अदरक – आधा इंच का टुकड़ा (Ginger – ½ inch piece)
लहसुन – 3 कालिया (Garlic cloves – 3)
तेल – 3 Table spoon (Oil)
नमक – स्वादानुसार (Salt)
इमली – तोडा सा (Tamarind – small quantity)
चीनी – आधा टी स्पून (Sugar – ½ tea spoon)
राय – 1/2 T spoon (Mustard seeds)
जीरा – 1/2 T spoon (Cumin seeds)
कड़ी पता – 10-12 (Curry leaves)

How to Make onion chutney – विधि

★ प्याज़ को काट लीजिये, अदरक को छोटे टुकड़ो में काट लीजिये.

★ एक पेन में टी स्पून तेल डाल कर गरम कीजिये, लाल मिर्च डाल कर भुने, अब कटा हुआ प्याज़, अदरक डाल कर भुने, अब गैस बन्द कर दीजिये. इमली और लहसुन डाल कर ढककर रखे.
प्याज़ ठंडा होने के बाद चीनी और नमक मिलकर मिक्सी में बारीक़ पीस लीजिये सबको, अब एक छोटे पेन में तेल डाल कर गरम करे,अब डालें जीरा,राय और कड़ी पता डाल कर भुने, अब उसे चटनी में मिला लीजिये, प्याज़ की चटनी तैयार.आप चटनी को इडली या डोसा का सकते है.

Onion Chutney Recipe In English

★ Cut onions to pieces, finely chop ginger.

★ Heat 1 tea spoon oil in a pan. Add red chillies and fry them. Add chopped onions, ginger and fry them. Now switch off the gas. Add tamarind, garlic and cover with a lid. Let them cool, after that add sugar, salt and grind them in grinder. Heat oil in a small pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and fry them. Mix this tempering in chutney. Tasty Onion Chutney is ready. Serve with idli or dosa.
