Sabudana Beetroot Khichdi Recipe

Ingredients for Sabudana Beetroot Khichdi Recipe in Hindi

साबूदाना – 200 g.m (Sabudana)
चुकंदर – 1 (Beetroot)
हरी मिर्च – 3 (Green chilli)
मूंगफली – 50 g.m (Peanut)
घी – 3 Table spoon (Ghee)
जीरा – 1 T spoon (Cumin)
राय – 1 T spoon (Mustard seeds)
कड़ी पत्ता – 10- 12 (Curry leaves)
धनिया पत्ता – 1 Table spoon (बारीक़ कटा हुआ) (Coriander leaves)

How to Make Sabudana Beetroot Khichdi Recipe – विधि

★ साबूदाना को पानी में 10 मिनट भिगो कर रखे.

★ चुकंदर को छिलका हटा कर दो ले. चुकंदर को छोटे टुकड़ो में काट लीजिये. अब कड़ाई में चुकंदर और पानी डाल उबालने रखे. चुकंदर नरम होने के बाद गैस बंद करके चुकंदर से पानी हटा कर अलग रखे.

★ अब कड़ाई में २ चम्मच घी डाल कर गरम करे. अब उसमे डाले जीरा, राय, कड़ी पत्ता, मूंगफली डाल कर भुने. अब उसमे चुकंदर और उबला हुआ पानी डाल कर उबालने दीजिये. उसके बाद भिगो कर रखा हुआ साबूदाना डाल कर पकाये. पकने के बाद धनिया पत्ता डाल कर मिलाये. आप इसमे कदूकस करके नारियल भी डाल सकते. साबूदाना चुकंदर खिचड़ी तैयार.

Sabudana Beetroot Khichdi Recipe In English

★ Soak sabudana for 10 mins in water.

★ Remove beetroot skin, wash them and cut in to small pieces. Take a vessel and add beetroot, water and boil them. After beetroot becomes soft switch off the gas and remove water from beetroot and keep water aside.

★ Heat 2 spoons ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, peanut and fry. Add beetroot, boiled water and let them boil. Add soaked sabudana and cook. After sabudana is cooked add coriander leaves and mix. You can add grated coconut also if you like. Sabudana Beetroot Khichdi is ready.
