Ingredients for Thekua Recipe in Hindi

गेहू का आटा – 200 g.m (Wheat flour)
सूखा नारियल – 1/2 कप (Dry coconut 1/2 Cup)
इलायची पाउडर – 1/4 T spoon (Cardamom powder)
घी – 3 Table spoon (Ghee)
चीनी – 250 g.m (Sugar)
बादाम, काजू – 3 Table spoon (बारीक़ कटा हुआ) (Cashew almond)
किसमिस – 1 Table spoon (Raisin)
चोकचिप्स – 2 Table spoon (Chocochips)
तेल – अवयस्कता अनुसार (Oil)

How to Make Thekua Recipe – विधि

★ अब आटे में बादाम, काजू, घी, इलायची पाउडर, किसमिस, चोकचिप्स, सूखा नारियल डाल कर अछि तरह मिलाकर साइड में रख लीजिए.

★ अब चीनी में 1 कप पानी डाल कर चीनी गलने तक चम्मच से मिलाकर छान कर गैस पर रख कर गरम कीजिये.

★ अब मैदा मिश्रण में चीनी पानी डाल कर चपाती के आटे की तरह गूथ लीजिये.

★ अब कड़ाई में तेल या घी डाल कर गरम कीजिये. अब आटे से छोटे छोटे लोई लेकर अपने मनपसन्द आकार में बना कर गरम तेल या घी में डालकर दोनों और तल कर निकाल लीजिये. गरमा गरम ठेकुआ तैयार.

★ आप ठेकुआ ओवन में भी बना सकते.

★ अब आटे से ठेकुवा बना कर बेकिंग ट्रे में घी लगाकर ठेकुवा रखे और 375 डि. से पर 20 मिनट तक बेक कीजिये.

Thekua Recipe In English

★ In wheat flour add almond, cashew, ghee, cardamom powder, raisin, choco chips, dry coconut, mix well and keep aside.

★ Add 1 cup of water in sugar, stir with spoon till sugar dissolves, filter it and keep it on stove to heat.

★ In wheat flour mixture add sugar water and knead dough like chapathi.

★ Heat oil in a pan. Take small balls from dough, shape them into your desired shape. Slide them into hot oil or ghee, fry them on both side and keep aside. Thekua is ready.

★ You can make thekua in oven also.

★ After making thekua from dough, grease baking tray with ghee, put thekua in baking tray. Keep the tray in oven and bake for 20 mins at 375 C.
