Veg Khichdi Bhaat Recipe

Ingredients for Veg Khichdi Bhaat Recipe in Hindi

चावल – 3 1/2 कप (Rice)
मूंगदाल – 1 1/2 कप (Moong daal)
बैगन – 3 (Eggplant)
आलू – 1 (Patato)
गाजर – 2 (Carrot)
बीन्स – 10 (Beans)
सूखी लाल मिर्च – 3 (Dry red chilli)
हींग – 1 pinch (Asafoetida)
राय – 1/4 T spoon (Mustard seeds)
लाल मिर्च पाउडर – T spoon (Red chilli powder)
हरी मिर्च – 2 (Green chilli)
कड़ी पत्ता – 15 -20 (Curry leaves)
हल्दी – 1/4 T spoon (Turmeric powder)
नमक – स्वादानुसार (Salt)
घी – 4 Table spoon (Ghee)

How to Make Veg Khichdi Bhaat Recipe – विधि

★ चावल और दाल को धो कर कुछ देर भिगो कर रखे.

★ बैगन, आलू, बीन्स, गाजर, हरी मिर्च को छोटे टुकड़ो में काट लीजिए.

★ अब कड़ाई में घी डालकर गरम कीजिये. अब उसमे सूखी लाल मिर्च, राय, हींग, हरीमिर्च, कड़ी पत्ता, हल्दी डाल कर भून लीजिये. अब कटा हुआ सब्जी डाल कर पकाये. अब लाल मिर्च पाउडर और नमक डालकर मिलाये. अब उसमे 1 लीटर पानी डाल कर मिलाये. अब पानी में उबाल आने के बाद भिगो कर रख हुआ चावल और दाल डालकर धीमी आंच पर चावल पकने तक पका लीजिये. गरमा गरम वेज खिचड़ी बात तैयार.

Veg Khichdi Bhaat Recipe In English

★ Wash rice, split green gram and soak them in water for some time.

★ Cut brinjal, potato, beans, carrot and green chilli into small pieces.

★ Heat ghee in a pan. Add dry red chilli, mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder and fry. Add chopped vegetables and cook. Now add red chilli powder, salt and cook. Add 1 ltr water and mix. After water comes to boil add soaked rice, split green gram and cook on low flame till rice is cooked. Veg Khichdi Bhaat is ready.
