Ingredients for Matar Pulao Recipe
Basmati rice (1 cup )
Green peas (1/2 cup )
Mint leaves ( 1/4 cup )
Coriander leaves – (1/4 cup )
3 – 4 (Green chilli)
Ginger garlic paste (1 1/2 T spoon)
1 Onion
Cinnamon – (1/2 inch piece )
2 Cardamom
2 Clove
Cumin seeds (1/2 T spoon)
1 Bay leaf
Salt – to taste
Oil – as required

How to Make Matar Pulao Recipe
★ Cut onion into thin long pieces. Wash rice and soak them for 30 mins.
★ Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chillies into fine paste.
★ Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, bay leaf and fry. Add onion pieces and cook. After onions turn golden brown add ginger garlic paste, ground coriander leaves paste and cook for 1 min. Now add green peas and cook for 2 to 3 mins. Add rice and cook for 1 min. Now add 2 cups of water, salt and mix well. After water comes to boil reduce the flame, cover with lid and cook for 10 mins or till rice is done. Matar Pulao is ready.
