Ingredients for Ragda Pattice Recipes
Dried yellow peas (1 cup)
1 Onion
Green chilli paste (1 T spoon)
Ginger garlic paste (1/2 T spoon)
Mustard seeds (1/2 T spoon)
10 – (Curry leaves)
Asafoetida (1 pinch )
Red chilli powder (1 T spoon)
Cumin powder (1/2 T spoon)
Coriander powder (1/2 T spoon)
Black salt (1/4 T spoon)
Black pepper powder (1/2 T spoon)
Turmeric powder (1/2 T spoon)
Garam masala (1/2 T spoon)
Baking soda (1/4 T spoon)

For Pattice
5 – Potato
2 – Green chilli
Ginger (paste 1 T spoon)
Oil
Corn flour (1 T spoon )
Bread powder (2 Table spoon)
Turmeric powder (1/4 T spoon)
Salt
For Serving Chat
Chat masala (1 T spoon)
2 – Onion
Coriander chutney (1/2 cup)
Tamarind chutney (1/2 cup)
Sev (1 cup)
Coriander leaves (1/2 cup (finely chopped)
How to Make Ragda Pattice Recipe
★ Soak peas in water for 10 hrs. After that put them in cooker, add salt, baking soda, 5 cups water and boil them. Cut onions and green chillies.
★ Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida and fry them. Add onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and fry for 4 mins.
After onions are cooked add boiled peas and stir. After that add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black salt, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt and mix.
★ Take half of the peas mash them and again mix them in same peas. Now add 1 cup water and mix well and cook for 10 mins then switch off the gas.
For making Pattice
★ Boil potatoes, peel skin and mash them. In mashed potatoes add green chilli paste, ginger, corn flour, salt, baking powder, turmeric powder and mix.
★ Take small portion from potato mixture, keep it in palms make it round, press slightly and flatten it. Prepare all pattices similarly. Heat 1 or 2 spoons of oil in a non-stick pan. Put pattices in it fry them till they turn golden brown on both sides.
★ Take a plate, put 2 pattices in it, put 2 spoons ragda (peas mixture) on it, put tamarind chutney, onions, coriander leaves, sev and sprinkle chat masala on it. Ragda Pattice is ready.
