Ingredients for Soan Papdi Recipes
Sugar – (2 Cups)
Maida – (1 Cup)
Gram flour – (1 Cup)
Ghee – (1 ½ Cup)
Cardamom powder (1 T spoon)
Pista, Almonds – (3 table spoons (Finely chopped))
How to Make Soan Papdi Recipe
★ Heat ghee in non-stick pan. After melting ghee add maida, gram flour and fry till it turn golden brown. Mix cardamom powder in it and switch off gas. While mixing in sugar syrup, gram flour mixture should be warm.
★ Take a vessel add sugar, pour water just above sugar level let it boil. Cook till it reaches 2 thread consistency. Pour 1 small spoon sugar syrup in cold water, syrup will form a ball. If ball is formed it means that sugar syrup is ready.
★ Grease a non-stick pan with ghee. Pour sugar syrup in a pan beat well with a large fork till the mixture forms thread like flakes. Add this sugar syrup in gram flour mixture and mix well. When mixture thickens level it with palm, spread a bit thicker. Garnish with chopped pista and almonds.
★ Take a plate apply ghee on it. Put mixture in the plate and level it. Cut it to pieces using knife. After cooling take pieces and keep them in serving plate. Tasty Soan Papdi is ready.
