Ingredients for Sooji Kachori Recipes
Semolina – 1 cup
Ajwain (1/4 T spoon)
3 – 4 (Potato)
Green peas – 1/4 cup (boiled)
1 – Green chilli
Turmeric powder (1 pinch)
Red chilli powder (1 T spoon )
Coriander leaves (1 T spoon )
Garam masala powder (1/2 T spoon)
Coriander leaves – (1 table spoon (finely chopped) )
Oil – as required
Salt – to taste
How to Make Sooji Kachori Recipe
★ Peel boiled potatoes and mash them. Slightly mash green peas.
★ Finely chop onion and green chilli.
★ Take a bowl add mashed potatoes, green peas, salt, onions, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, coriander leaves and mix well.
★ Now boil 2 cups of water in a vessel. In this add salt, 1 tea spoon oil and ajwain. After water comes to boil reduce the flame and add semolina cook while stirring. Cook till semolina mixture becomes thick then switch off the gas. Let semolina mixture slightly cool.
★ After semolina becomes slightly cool, apply oil to hands and knead it. Take big lemon size portion from semolina mixture, make it round, make it large with hands, make depth in center, put some potato mixture in it and lift from all edges and close it. Press slightly and shape it like kachori and put it in a plate. In same way prepare kachoris.
★ Heat oil in a pan. Slide kachoris into oil and fry till they turn golden brown on both sides. Sooji Kachori is ready.
