Ingredients for Lemon Rasam Recipe in Hindi

अरहर दाल – 1 Table spoon (Pigeon peas)
टमाटर – 2 (Tomato)
निम्बू का रस – 2 1/2 Table spoon (Lemon juice)
हींग – 1 पिंच (Asafoetida)
अदरक – 1/2 T spoon (कद्दूकस किया हुआ) (Ginger – 1/2 tea spoon (grated) )
हरी मिर्च – 2 (Green chilli)
प्याज़ – 1 T spoon (कटा हुआ) (Onion – 1 tea spoon (pieces) )
कड़ी पत्ता – 5-8 (Curry leaves)
राय – 1/2 T spoon (Mustard seeds)
जीरा – 1/2 T spoon (Cumin seeds)
धनिया पत्ता – 1 T spoon (बारीक़ कटा हुआ) (Coriander leaves – 1 tea spoon (finely chopped))
रसम पाउडर – 1 T spoon (Rasam powder)
नमक – स्वादानुसार (Salt)
तेल – अवयस्कता अनुसार (Oil)

Mysore Rasam Recipe in Hindi

How to Make Lemon Rasam Recipe – विधि

★ अब कुकर में अरहर दाल, 1/4 कप पानी, हल्दी डाल कर उबाल लीजिये. टमाटर और हरी मिर्च को बारीक़ काट लीजिये.

★ अब एक बर्तन में 3 कप पानी डाल कर उसमे कटा हुआ टमाटर, हरी मिर्च, प्याज़, अदरक, नमक मिलाकर धीमी आंच पर पकाये. अब पानी में उबाल आने के बाद दाल को मेश करके उसमे डाल लीजिये. उसके बाद रसम पाउडर मिलाकर 10 मिनट पकाये. अब धनिया पत्ता मिलाकर गैस बंद कर लीजिये. उसके बाद निम्बू का रस डाल कर मिलाये.

★ अब एक छोटे पेन में राय, जीरा, कड़ी पत्ता, हींग डाल कर भून लीजिये. अब तड़के को रसम में डालकर मिलाये. गरमा गरम निम्बू का रसम तैयार.

Lemon Rasam Recipe In English

★ Take cooker add pigeon peas, ¼ cup water, turmeric powder and boil them. Finely chop tomatoes and green chillies.

★ Take a vessel, add 3 cups water, chopped tomatoes, green chillies, onions, ginger, salt mix and cook on low flame. After water comes to boil mash pigeon peas and add it. Add rasam powder and cook for 10 mins. Add coriander leaves and switch off the gas. Add lemon juice and mix.

★ Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida and fry them. Mix this tempering in rasam. Tasty Lemon Rasam is ready.
