Ingredients for Masala Mathri Recipe in Hindi

गेहू का आटा – 1/2 कप (Wheat flour 1/2 cup)
मैदा – 2 कप (Maida 2 cup)
बेसन – 1/2 कप (Gram flour 1/2 cup)
अजवाइन – 1 T spoon (Ajwain)
धनिया – 1 Table spoon (Coriander seeds)
जीरा – 1/2 T spoon (Cumin seeds)
काली मिर्च – 1 T spoon (Black pepper seeds)
लाल मिर्च पाउडर – 1 T spoon (Red chilli powder)
सूजी – 1/4 कप (Semolina 1/4 cup)
तेल – अवयस्कता अनुसार (Oil)
नमक – स्वादानुसार (Salt)

How to Make Masala Mathri Recipe – विधि

★ धनिया, अजवाइन, काली मिर्च को मिक्सी से दरदरा पीस लीजिये.

★ अब एक बाउल में गेहू का आटा, मैदा, नमक, लाल मिर्च पाउडर, जीरा, पिसा हुआ मसाला, सूजी, बेसन डाल कर मिलाये. उसके बाद थोड़ा थोड़ा पानी मिलाकर चपाती के आटे की तरह गूथ लीजिये. अब आटे को ढककर 10 मिनट तक साइड रख लीजिये.

★ अब गुथे हुए आटे से बराबर का छोटे छोटे लोइयां बना लीजिये. अब एक उठाइये और हथेली पर रखिये और दूसरे हाथ से दबा कर थोड़ा बड़ा लीजिये और प्लेट में रख लीजिये. इसी तरह सारे लोई से मठरी बना कर पालते में रख लीजिये.

★ अब कड़ाई में तेल डालकर गरम कीजिये. अब गरम तेल में मठरी डाल कर धीमी आंच कर पलट पलट कर गोल्डन ब्राउन होने तक तल कर निकाल लीजिये. मसाला मठरी तैयार.

Instructions for Masala Mathri Recipe In English


★ Grind coriander seeds, ajwain and black pepper seeds coarsely in grinder.

★ Take a bowl and add wheat flour, maida, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, ground masala powder, semolina, gram flour and mix. Add sufficient water and knead soft dough. Cover dough and keep aside for 10 mins.

★ Divide dough into equal portions and shape them into round balls. Take one balls and keep it on one hand and with another hand press and spread it then keep it in a plate. In same way prepare all mathris and keep them in a plate.

★ Heat oil in a pan. Slide mathris into oil and fry them on low flame till they turn golden brown on both sides. Masala Mathri is ready.
